San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson has consented to a four-year, $80 million agreement expansion with the group. He was set to join the restricted free agency by the next offseason if he would not agree to the recent long-term deal with the Spurs. Previously he enjoyed a four-year, $10 million rookie contract with the side. Now he would earn $3.8 million per season. Johnson, 22, was the No. 29 draft pick from Kentucky in the 2019 draft. He was the group's second-driving scorer last season, with an average of 17 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. His 74 beginnings was a good number on the list.
Johnson is set to be the Spur's top choice in wake of the Dejounte Murray exchange on June 29 that sent the All-Star and Jock Landale to the Atlanta Hawks as a trade-off for a take of the future first-round draft picks and forward Danilo Gallinari.
