Minnesota Timberwolves did well this season, they managed to reach the first round of this season after qualifying from the play-in tournament. This season gave a good view of the strength of the roster but they still have a long way to go and need to make some additions in order to compete with the team for the title in Western Conference.
As per multiple reports, Minnesota Timberwolves are currently involved in discussions with veteran centers this offseason and Clint Capela’s name has emerged as one of the potential targets for the side. Capela would be a good defensive anchor for the team and even serve as a backup Karl-Anthony Towns when needed. He could serve as the sixth man coming off the bench. But Atalanta is also considering trading Clint Capela in exchange for Utah Jazz star center Rudy Gobert, Timberwolves would have to move fast to land the player.
