Joe Clarke’s knock of 83 helped Melbourne Stars to triumph against Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. This was Clarke’s fourth consecutive half-century and Stars’ spinning also did a great job while the team claimed a vital BBL victory. Stars won the toss and chose to bowl, as they took on Adelaide Strikers at the MCG, they first reduced the side with 9-139 and later chased it down with five balls to spare.
Stars overcame an early upset when Clint Hinchcliffe and Nick Larkin were dismissed early with the scoreboard at 2-25. Superstar spinner Rashid Khan did a great job as well giving away just three runs off his first two overs then dismissing Joe Burns for nine and Stars were left grappling at 3-44 off eight overs, but still, the side won by five wickets.
