Sydney Sixers stole a win at the last ball against Brisbane Heat

Sydney Sixers witnessed one of the most remarkable performances by Sean Abbott at an all-rounder level as his side sneaked a win past Brisbane Heat in the low-scoring thriller in Big Bash League at the SCG. Sixers were chasing just 106 runs and Heat had limited the side to 8-47 in the 13th over but Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis resuscitated their inning with 37 and 23 run contributions respectively as Sixers got their hands on the last ball winner.

Earlier Heat had won the toss and elected to bat first before they put 105 runs on the scoreboard before being bundled out in 19.1 overs. Sixers chase started out in the worst possible manner losing 2 wickets for zero runs in just seven balls at MCG. But Sixers duo of Abbott and Dwarshuis then provided a much-needed break to their free fall and played to win the match.
