Arsenal beat Watford 3-2 to climb into top four

With a 3-2 win against struggling Watford, Arsenal leapfrogged Manchester United into the Premier League top four. Cucho Hernandez equalised with a fantastic overhead kick minutes later after Martin Odegaard had opened the scoring for the visitors. After half an hour, England international Saka put Arsenal back in front, and Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli extended Arsenal's lead early in the second half.

Watford got a late goal against the run of play from Moussa Sissoko, but Arsenal held on for an important win. The win puts Mikel Arteta's side in fourth place in the Premier League, one point ahead of Manchester United, who play Manchester City later in the evening. Watford had the ball in the net a few seconds after kick-off but Emmanuel Dennis's effort was ruled offside.
