AS Monaco set a price tag of €80 million for Tchouaméni

Tchouaméni would be playing for Real Madrid next season with the side being clear admirers of the youngster amongst other top European sides, including Liverpool, who are set to contest Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Final. But due to the failure of signing Kylian Mbappe after he decided to stay back with his current club, PSG, thus Real Madrid had to alter their transfer plans. Now, the Spanish giants can now turn their attention to other areas of the squad that they could potentially bolster.

The addition of the French youngster will lay long-term foundations for a midfield overhaul for the Spanish Champions, with the current aging midfield trio in Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modric still delivering at the highest level.
