Cavani is already in Spain: Valencia and Villarreal lead the race

Edinson Cavani is already in Spain to sign his new contract either with Valencia or with Villarreal -if a new bidder does not appear at the last minute-. It was even leaked that he had a pre-agreement with the 'Groguets', but, as the days have gone by, a hypothetical landing at Mestalla has also gained momentum.

On Sunday, the social networks reported images of the Uruguayan travelling to Spain, where he will continue his career. Barring a sudden turn of events, destinations outside of La Liga, such as Nice or Nacional, who have also been rumoured to be looking to sign him as a free agent this season, have been ruled out.
