Guardiola-City agreement renews for another two years

Pep Guardiola will remain as Manchester City manager until 2025. It's not official yet, but 'The Athletic' confirmed that the coach has reached an agreement with the club.

It should be remembered that Guardiola's contract ended at the end of this season. From then on, there was no certainty about what the coach was going to do.

The agreement, always according to the aforementioned source, will be renewed for one season, until 2024, but with the option of both the club and the coach to extend the relationship for one more period.

Incidentally, the same model as in November 2020 will be followed, in the contract that now ends in 2023, and by which both parties had the option of continuing together.

Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016. He managed to win four Premiers, an FA Cup and four EFL Cups, but the CL still resists him as a 'citizen'.
