Liverpool enjoys a 3-0 sweep against Brentford

Reds picked apart Brentford to climb into the second spot on the Premier League table. It was Jurgen Klopp’s 350th match in charge of Liverpool and the players put in their best with the 3-0 victory over Brentford at Anfield. In the first half Liverpool exercised control over possession but still could not find the back of the net as Bees left them frustrated. But Liverpool broke the deadlock moments before the end of the first half when Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner was redirected into the far-post by Fabinho.

In the second half, Reds came back stronger and drilled two more goals first at 69th minute when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain put Andrew Robertson’s whipped cross at the back of the net and later substitute Takumi Minamino scored easily to end Brentford’s torment.
