Liverpool to sign Jude Bellingham

There have been some hopeful rumblings in recent weeks regarding Liverpool fans' pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. Multiple sources claim that Liverpool are currently in front of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United in the race. Bellingham will be viewed as a guy who can fix the Reds' dysfunctional midfield, and the possibility of signing him could help calm irate fans. If Liverpool was initially reticent to shell out nine figures for the Englishman, that attitude has unsurprisingly changed.

Bellingham wants to join the club "where he'll be challenged to become the best version of himself," not the one that can offer "the biggest paycheck." From that perspective, Jürgen Klopp is unquestionably the best manager, having elevated practically every big acquisition at Anfield, most notably Andy Robertson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mané.
