Man City is Loaning Haaland

Manchester City are reported to be interested in loaning Erling Haaland during the World Cup pause. Haaland, who was unable to reach the Qatar World Cup finals on behalf of Norway, is one of a limited number of City players who can receive a rest break during the winter season. Haaland and City may agree to make him a player if he and City come to an agreement.

Non-league team Ashton United has reportedly made a bid to City for a 28-day loan for Erling Haaland. Ashton United manager Michael Clegg stated: "We simply want to keep Erling fit by signing him on loan to Ashton United. City aren't playing, so it makes more sense to sign Erling on loan than to play golf." The website for Ashton United has crashed as a result of increased traffic.
