Newcastle faces transfer blow as target wants to move to PSG

Paris Saint-Germain wants to offload Mauro Icardi during the summer transfer window and is looking for a striker as a replacement. One of the targets they wish to have on board is Hugo Ekitike from Stade de Reims. But the 20-year-old has expressed his desire to move to PSG as he wants to play alongside Kylian Mbappe. He feels that playing with Mbappe will help his game grow. 

However, Newcastle United considered Hugo as their potential target and has made an offer of €40 million for the player. There is no update yet if the player intends to make a move to the Premier League side. Furthermore, it has been seen that the French side isn't willing to set the price bar so high for the player.
