UEFA Champions League: Celtic 0 - 3 Real Madrid

Real Madrid flew down to Glasgow to appear in their first European night of the new season. It was an energetic vibe and Celtic Park was jampacked. After a rough first half, real Madrid’s true mettle kicked in and gained a smashing 3-0 victory. Fiery goals shot by Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, and Eden Hazard set the match to bed.

Carlo Ancelotti applauded Real Madrid's resolute delivery in the second-half in to commence their Champions League defence after a tough first 45 minutes in which they had to suffer the loss of Karim Benzema to injury. The Frenchman suffered with a knee problem after Celtic captain Callum McGregor struck the post in the first period. Benzema's absence caused Vincius Junior to step in and open the floodgates with a commendable conclusion in the 11 minutes into the second half.
