Unusual: English 7th division club wants Haaland... for 28 days

The Norwegian will be training with the rest of City's squad. But there is a club that wants to change the player's schedule.

Ashton United, which militates in the seventh division of English football, resorted to social networks to publicly propose the... loan of Haaland. The club wants the Manchester City striker for a period of 28 days, claiming he is in good shape.

"Ashton United can confirm that they have submitted a 28-day loan request to Manchester City for striker Erling Haaland. With the Premier League currently suspended until December due to the 2022 World Cup, we have decided to allow Haaland keep in shape during this period", reads the club's statement.

The proposal seems serious, so much so that Ashton United really expects a response from citizens. Even so, Pep Guardiola's response is already foreseeable.
