Vranckx scored a brace to help VfL with a win

The anxious wait for a win finally ended for VfL Wolfsburg as they registered their first win in 12 competitive games on Sunday with an emphatic 4-1 triumph against Greuther Fürth. Wolves stayed in control for the most part of the match and saw Aster Vranckx net his first Bundesliga goal to help them with an early lead and later come back to complete a brace.

Visitors did fight back at the end of the first half and Branimir Hrgota levelled the score from the penalty area as well but that marked the end of their attack as they lagged for later part of the match with Wolves dominating once more as they worked towards the three points. Maximilian Arnold and Maximilian Philipp scored the other two goals for VfL as they completed their hammering for the day and prepare for an away match at Eintracht Frankfurt.
